This site is based in New Zealand. Use it to research stupas as a part of your work on places of worship. It includes a world map of stupas, and advice on how to build one of your own!

Karma Kagyu
This site comes recommended as a good "kids'" site. It is more suitable as an introduction to the world of buddhism for Primary aged students, but is none the worse for that!

Buddhism in Ottawa (Canada)
This site provides an introduction to Buddhism in Canada's capital. It includes a huge range of information for Buddhists in Canada, and is a bit overwhelming - use it to browse and to get the feel for a Buddhist community and its activities.

This is a visually striking site, with a wealth of information about Buddhism.

Dharma the Cat
"Cartoons that blend humour & spirituality -- on the rocky path to nirvana with a Buddhist cat, a novice monk and a mouse hell-bent on cheese." It says here, anyway! This site is an interesting introduction to Buddhism, but isn't so useful as a research tool. Use this resource for an approach that combines philosophy with fur.
