By clicking on the "enter here" link, and by using the TSAS-RE website, you should note the following points:
  • This site is provided for the students, parents and teachers at Thorpe St Andrew School. Visitors to the site are welcome, but the site may not support RE programmes in other schools.
  • There are hundreds of links on the site. No link has been included without being checked, but external sites are subject to change after they have been checked. We cannot be held responsible for such changes, or for any loss arising from information no longer available through an external link. The site is operated by the RE Department, but the service is subject to the various features being available at any given time.
  • TSAS Students are protected by a filtering system that tries to prevent access to adult or inappropriate material. This system operates as part of the TSAS School Computer Network. Students who access material of an offensive nature by deliberately circumventing this system will be banned from using the school network.
Students who are working from home or at computers not connected to the internet through the School's filter system do so at their own risk. Please report any offensive sites, or broken links, using the e-mail address that features throughout the site.

    Notes and Resources
  • The GCSE and A Level notes on this site are there purely for the convenience of students at TSAS. They are written to support specific lessons, and do not represent a comprehensive coverage of any particular examination specification. Students and Teachers from other schools are welcome to use the notes (subject to the notes below), but I make no claim about their quality.
  • The notes are not intended to replace text-books or personal study. They supplement other materials used in TSAS, and therefore we cannot be held liable for any loss arising from their use.
  • Notes can be downloaded without charge (they are protected by passwords simply so that we can remind visitors of the points made above before the notes are used).
  • Students can use the notes as part of their preparations for GCSE or A Level examinations. Teachers can use the notes as part of their teaching - we would welcome feedback on the notes (and suggestions for improvement). Beyond that, we are not looking for any payment for use of the notes. It would be unethical for a teacher to make use of our notes for their own commercial gain.
  • The website is offered in the spirit of co-operation with other schools, teachers and students. It is assumed that visitors will use the site with that same spirit.
